Located in the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel at the edge of the historic French Quarter, the Health & Fitness Expo features exhibitors showcasing the latest in running apparel, shoes, exercise equipment, nutritional and wellness products, fitness services, and much more.

Runners can still register in person for the upcoming Crescent City Classic at the Expo. Once you are registered and have picked up your race materials, (including your bib and bus tickets), step into the Expo to check out exhibitors and receive free samples, see interactive displays, and catch great sales on items like running shoes, sports apparel, sunglasses, watches, and much, much more. Swing by the official CCC store to pick up the latest in CCC gear. A wide array of items are available from t-shirts and bags to our official poster.

As you walk through the Expo, stop by the stage area to try out Yoga, attend a clinic with a fitness professional, catch a performance by a local group, see a demonstration of the latest fitness and exercise trends, and maybe even learn a little about healthy cooking. The stage schedule will be announced early in 2009. Before you leave ... don’t forget to pick up your commemorative runner’s t-shirt and t-shirt bag with sample products, coupons, and other information from our sponsors and more. Pick up your timing chip so that you can be officially scored and eligible for a Top 500 finisher poster. Runners can provide documentation that they have completed a 10k race in a time of 45 minutes or less to qualify to receive a complimentary chip; otherwise, you can purchase the commemorative scoring chip for $5.

Whether gearing up for the race or just passing through, the Crescent City Classic Health & Fitness Expo is not to be missed. And remember, the Expo is FREE and open to the public!
  
           
EXPO FAQ:
I registered in advance.  What do I need to bring with me to the Expo in order to pick up my race number, T-shirt, or poster? You should bring your registration or purchase confirmation, or other proof of registration or poster purchase such as a canceled check.

I have already received my race number.   Can I pick up my T-shirt while I am at the Expo?  YES! The Expo is the recommended place for t-shirt pick up as we cannot guarantee that we will have your size on race day.  But remember, you MUST have your race number with you in order to pick up your T-shirt.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

I ordered a Crescent City Classic Poster. May I pick up my poster at the Expo? Absolutely ... stop by the Crescent City Classic Store booth in the Expo to pick up pre-ordered posters.  Be sure to bring your purchase/registration confirmation with you. 

Where do I park?  The Sheraton New Orleans Hotel has parking and attendees will receive two hours of free parking when they show their race number when retrieving their vehicle. 

Where is the Expo located and how do I get there?  The Sheraton New Orleans Hotel (500 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130) is the official race hotel, expo site, and race headquarters.  Plan a weekend in New Orleans at our host hotel and enjoy the city’s restaurants, the French Quarter, the Riverwalk and the many shops along Canal Street and Magazine Street, all of which are located within convenient walking distance. 

Driving Directions:

From East:  Take Interstate 10 West to the Canal Street Exit. Turn right on Canal Street and then proceed to 500 Canal Street.

From North: From the Causeway exit, take Interstate 10 East to the New Orleans Business District. Continue to the Poydras Street exit. Follow Poydras Street to Camp St. Take a left on Camp St and then a right on Canal St. The hotel will be on the right.

From Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport: Take Interstate 10 East to the New Orleans Business District. Continue to the Poydras Street exit. Follow Poydras Street all the way to the river. The hotel will be on the right.

From South: Take Highway 90 to the Westbank Expressway. Proceed on the Westbank Expressway to the Crescent City Connection (approximately 10 miles). From the right lane, exit at Camp Street(8 red lights). Turn right on Canal Street. The hotel will be on the right.
